Ingredients:
- 2 four oz cans diced green chilies (not great value). *can sub jalapeños
- 1 stick unsalted butter.
- 1/3 cup AP flour
- 3 cups whole milk.
- Salt and black pepper to taste.
Directions:
- Heat the butter and green chilies in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the butter has melted, add flour. Stir well.
- Add 1 cup of milk at a time, and allow the flour to dissolve into it each time by stirring well. Reduce heat if necessary when gravy gets too thick.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with brined baked chicken , or a Ray's New York bagel from the frozen section of Walmart.
