Perfect "Fried" Potatoes

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 russet potatoes 
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
Directions:
  1. Peel and slice potatoes into half moons. 
  2. Transfer to a microwave safe bowl and add remaining ingredients. 
  3. Microwave for 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. 
  4. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with nonstick foil. 
  5. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  6. Stir. Bake again for 30 minutes, stirring at 20 minutes. 
Serves 1
