- Something sweet
- Something smooth
- Extra flavor (optional)
- Bonus points for something vegetal
- Liquid to blend
Something frozen (combination up to 2 cups):
- Frozen fruits (1 cup)
- Frozen vegetables (1 cup)
- Ice (1 cup)
Something sweet: (combination up to 1 cup)
- If using berries, use 1 more ingredient for sweetness
- Dried fruit; raisins, cranberries, dates (not more than 1/3 cup)
- Apples
- Peaches
- Bananas
- Passion fruit
- Coconut water (see liquid)
Something smooth (whole fruit, or 1/2 cup):
- Bananas
- Avocados
- Pumpkin purée
- Nut butter
- Yogurt
- Oats (1/4 cup)
Extra flavor:
- Cacao nibs (1/3 cup)
- Lime juice (1 tbsp)
- Lemon juice (1 tbsp)
- Fresh mint (6-8 leaves)
- Extract (1 tsp)
- Spices (1 tsp each)
- Espresso (double shot pressed)
Something vegetal: (optional)
- Pumpkin puree (1/4 cup)
- Spinach (1/2 cup)
- Kale (1/2 cup)
Liquid to blend (1 cup):
- Whole milk
- Filtered water
- Tea
- Coconut water (skip if it'll make this too sweet)
