Better than my last salsa recipe

 


I should probably delete my last salsa recipe. What was I thinking; puréed hearts of palm?! Anyway, this salsa isn't as good as my coffee shop's former salsa, but it's better than anything from a jar.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes (28 ounces)
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 3 tbsp jalapeño relish
  • 2 tbsp keylime juice
  • 1 tsp cumin 
  • 1 tsp paprika 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 
  • 1 bunch fresh (or frozen) cilantro, minced. 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
