Nut Butter Mocha Latte

Kyle wanted me to put this on my blog for him, so here it is.

He made the nut butter in our vitamix blender out of 1 pound of pecans and 8 ounces of walnuts.

Before he blended them, he roasted them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, and cooled them for 10 minutes.

Ingredients for the latte:

  • 1 ounce prepared espresso
  • 1 tbsp kyle's nut butter
  • 2 tsp dark, or Dutch, cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Goodman's caramel flavor
  • 1 ounce hot water (for blending)
  • 1/16 tsp salt
  • 6 ounces whole milk.
Directions:
  1. Make the espresso in the Bambino by Breville espresso machine.
  2. Transfer it to a small blend container for the Magic Bullet blender.
  3. Add cocoa powder, nut butter, caramel extract, hot water, and salt.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Transfer to 14 ounce mug.
  6. Steam 6 ounces of milk in the carafe that comes with the Bambino.
  7. Pour over nut butter mocha espresso.
