Thai Sweet Chili Beef Ramen

I made homemade beef gravy this week, and here is one of the ways I used it up. It was really yummy.

If you don't have these items in you Pantry, the cost could add up, but if you do, it'll save you money on takeout, and it will probably taste even better.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Maruchan Ramen (seasoning packet removed)
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 2/3 cup Great Value frozen seasoning blend (onions, peppers, celery, parsley)
  • 9 tbsp brown gravy
  • 1 tbsp Melinda's Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Imperial Dragon 100% pure sesame seed oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp McCormick chili powder
  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Holland House White Cooking Wine
  • 3-5 leftover meatballs from making the gravy (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place Ramen noodles in a 1 quart microwave safe bowl, and add 1.5 cups water.
  2. Cook on high for 3.5 minutes.
  3. Drain 1 cup of the water and add the remaining ingredients.
  4. Cook for 3.5 more minutes. Stir
  5. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Serves 1. Would be good with cabbage.
