Somehow this ended up tasting exactly like Malt-O-Meal, which I happened to love in the 80’s, but I can’t eat without feeling poopy.
Do you love Malt-O-Meal?
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup oats (old fashioned)
- 4 tbsp unsalted cultured butter
- 2 tbsp coconut chia pudding (without cinnamon)
- 2 squares 95% Lindt dark chocolate
- 2 medjool dates
- 3 tbsp almond flour
- 2 tbsp water
Directions:
- Heat oats and butter over medium high heat. 1 minute
- Add dates (pitted) and stir well. 1 minute
- Add chia pudding, chocolate, and almond flour. Stir well.
- Press dates into the bottom of the pot to form a paste.
- Remove from heat just before the chocolate burns, and add water. Stir.
- Allow to sit for 5 minutes. Stir.
