Jewellene's Chonky Guac Salted with Electrolytes

 


Admittedly, this is a pricey alternative to regular salt, but if you're not low-carb (which means you might not struggle with low electrolytes), then why not just use electrolytes in your regular meals.

It's also a way to make sure you're not getting too much salt, which is possible if you're not eating low-carb.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado 
  • 4 cherry tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh onion (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon canned diced chilies (mild), or substitute pickled jalapeños (diced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 
  • 1 tablespoon EVOO
  • 2 teaspoons bottled (no preservatives) or fresh lemon juice 
  • 1/2 packet LMNT raw electrolyte mix
Directions:
  1. Smash avocado with fork and combine remaining ingredients.
