Admittedly, this is a pricey alternative to regular salt, but if you're not low-carb (which means you might not struggle with low electrolytes), then why not just use electrolytes in your regular meals.
It's also a way to make sure you're not getting too much salt, which is possible if you're not eating low-carb.
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 4 cherry tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon fresh onion (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (minced)
- 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon canned diced chilies (mild), or substitute pickled jalapeños (diced)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon EVOO
- 2 teaspoons bottled (no preservatives) or fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 packet LMNT raw electrolyte mix
Directions:
- Smash avocado with fork and combine remaining ingredients.
